SUPER7 ANNOUNCES END OF MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE LICENSE!

In a bit of surprising news, Super7 has announced that their Masters of the Universe license is coming to an end soon. The company unveiled the last two items that collectors will be able to purchase from them under the license agreement. The two new items are ReAction He-Man/Battle Cat and Skeletor/Panthor sets. While the new items are big news, the biggest is the loss of the license.

Dear MOTU Fans and Customers –

This holiday season we’re thankful that you have been some of our best customers and most faithful MOTU fans. Therefore we want to give you MOTU faithful FIRST access to our LAST MOTU release: The Limited Edition Battle Cat and Panthor ReAction Figures!

Also available here are the final Super7 x MOTU Japanese vinyl releases (limited to less than 100 each).

Thank you again for the support you’ve given Super7 and Masters of the Universe!

All the best,
Super7

This news should not be all that shocking. Mattel has huge plans for Masters of the Universe next year. These plans apparently don’t include Super7. We know that the fan line Masters of the Universe Classics, which Super7 continued for Mattel has been put on hiatus, at least for 2020. The new Masters of the Universe Origins line will be the big line for Mattel. Couple this with two new animated shows on Netflix and a new movie in the works, and it seems He-Man will be making a large splash next year. Unfortunately Super7 will not be part of that splash.

Check out the new figure sets below! Enjoy the last offerings from Super7. Kudos for keeping MOTU alive for the past few years. Well Super7, Good Journey!

Note: If you purchase one of the awesome products featured above, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. Thank you for your support.
